Originally from Formby in the North West I’ve spent many years working in London, the UK and indeed around the world before settling in Lincolnshire. I married my dear wife Sally in 1981 and we have three grown up children and four grandchildren, three of whom were born last year.
I have worked as an Executive Director, Non-Executive Director and CEO of organizations across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. This experience has left me with the abiding view that a company is only as good as its people. So, for me whatever plans are in play they need to be viewed through the lens of our colleagues and our customers.
My experience of Lincolnshire Co-op is purely as a customer which enables me to bring a completely fresh, external and independent perspective to operations and the chance to contribute to its continuing success.
