I am delighted to have been elected to the Board of Lincolnshire Co-op as I have strong links to the County and ‘the Co-op’ was the place you grew up trusting to have a fair price for good product.
I have been inspired not just by Lincolnshire Co-operative’s rich history but also by its sense of entrepreneurialism for the future. To this end, I brought the 2023 UKSCS Conference to Lincolnshire, in part so that the national and international speakers who were attending could visit recent developments in the Lincolnshire Science and Innovation Park and in the Cornhill Quarter and consider how these might be adapted to other areas.
I’m looking forward to catching up with colleagues, across Lincolnshire and the neighbouring counties and also across Lincolnshire Co-op’s range of business areas, to support its purpose of “bring[ing] together ideas, energy and resources to make life better in our communities”.
