Welcome to your community libraries

Image of library.jpg for Welcome to your community libraries

As well as the well-known outlets like food stores, pharmacies and post offices the Society also runs three libraries.

All of the libraries are supported by teams of dedicated volunteers from the local area.

Supporting the community by running a vital service

One library is in Bar Lane, Waddington, and shares the site with a Lincolnshire Co-op pharmacy and post office. Another is inside Lincolnshire Co-op's Spilsby Food Store on Post Office Lane.

The Society also supports Holbeach Library, which is on Fleet Street and shares space with our pharmacy and post office.

Facilities at the libraries include self-service machines, People's Network computers, dedicated helplines linking to Lincolnshire County Council's customer services team and thousands of books, including fiction, non-fiction, children's and large print titles.

Our libraries are open throughout the week, though during some points in the week they are not staffed, but still accessible with self service. Find your local library hours below:

Marvellous Makers - A reading challenge for children this summer

Join us this summer for Marvellous Makers and discover the joy of reading.

Lincolnshire Co-op Community Libraries in conjunction with the Reading Agencies Summer Reading Challenge are able to offer children across our community a fun, interactive challenge this summer, all based around reading.

It's free to take part and children can sign up at our Waddington, Holbeach or Spilsby library to receive their starter park. The challenge is to read six books over the summer holidays, with prizes being awarded for every two books read. Once all six books have been read each child will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 arts and crafts themed hamper*.

To find out more, simply go to your local Community Library.

*Each library will have a separate £50 arts and crafts themed hamper up for grabs
