About Coastal Distillery

Situated just a few hundred yards from Mablethorpe’s golden north beach, Coastal Distillery is a family-run business founded in 2017.

Their stills are in a working print house, so close to the shore they can hear the waves crashing in and feel the wind blowing off the North Sea whenever they open the door. Inspiration comes from their location and their background.

They use modern, energy-efficient stills and the latest technology to make their spirits, producing gins, vodkas, liqueurs, hybrid spirits and more. Attention to detail is important to them – from meticulously developing their flavours through to their innovative '3D' label designs.

Made to honour the RAF units stationed in Lincolnshire during World War II – the 617 ‘Dambusters’ Squadron in particular – their multi-award-winning Dam Raider Gin has become a favourite across the county and beyond. It’s a citrusy, warmly-spiced gin which goes down perfectly mixed with Indian Tonic, a thin slice of clementine and a couple of mint leaves.

Coastal Distillery has won a raft of industry awards, including those from the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC) and the Great Taste Awards, thanks to the consistently high quality of their products.
