January 2024: A new chapter begins...free fruit is back!

Free Fruit FB 1024px x 638 Jan 2024 1

Our free fruit initiative for children returned in January 2024 for six weeks, giving away a huge 10,573 pieces of fruit - with banana's being a clear favourite 🍌

All children need a fruitastic fairytale card to collect their fruit each day.

If you've not received a card through the post for your child, it could be because;

1. You have not added them to your membership - you can do this, for free, here. Don't forget to opt into family postal communications, otherwise we can't post anything to you.

2. You've added children to your membership but not opted into family postal communications. Simply sign into your account here, and select your preferences.

3. You've added children to your membership and opted into family postal communications but still not recieved anything - sometimes things can get lost in the post, or we may not have the correct details for you on your account. Please get in touch with our Membership Team on 01522 781 135 or at membership@lincolnshire.coop who will be happy to check things over and get a card posted to you.

  1. A fairytale fruit pass will be sent in the post to all those who have children registered to their accounts, and are opted into postal items under the family preference section.
  2. A card will be sent to each child registered and will have their name printed on it.
  3. On receipt of the card/s head to your nearest Lincolnshire Co-op food store 🧺
  4. Once inside pick out which fruit you'd like - choose from a loose Gala apple, banana or orange.
  5. Head to the till and hand over your fairytale fruit pass and piece of fruit to our colleagues 🕺 - we encourage children to do this themselves, to learn how shopping works.
  6. They'll scan your card along with the fruit, then it's yours! Make sure you keep your fruit card safe as you'll need it each time you claim your free fruit.
  7. You can then return for more tomorrow ⛵
