January 2025: Free fruit is back!

Web image intranet slider free fruit

Our free fruit initiative for children is back for January 2025!

Every day from Monday 13th January 2025 to Sunday 23rd February 2025, under 13's can kick start their new year by heading into our food stores and grabbing a FREE Gala apple 🍎 banana 🍌 or orange 🟠 using a fruit card!

It's easy to get your hands on a fruit card, so children can collect their free fruit...

🍎 Parents and guardians can add children under 13 to their memberships. By adding children to your account means you'll receive things like free fruit cards and birthday treats for them.

🍌 If you have already added children to your membership and opted into family postal communications from us (you can check by signing into your account here) then we'll be sending you a card in the post on Friday 10th January 2025. You should have it within a couple of days of it being sent.

For any children added after this date, we will be sending out further cards each week. Please note it can take up to 14 days for a card to be received.

🍊 If you've not yet added children to your account, you can do so by signing into your account here and selecting the 'add a child' option from the menu. Don't forget to update your family communication preference to include items sent to you by post.

All children need a fruit card to collect their fruit each day.

If you've not received a card through the post for your child, it could be because;

1. You have not added them to your membership - you can do this, for free, here. Don't forget to opt into family postal communications, otherwise we can't post anything to you.

2. You've added children to your membership but not opted into family postal communications. Simply sign into your account here, and select your preferences. Please get in touch with our Membership Team on 01522 781 135 or at membership@lincolnshire.coop who will be happy to then order a free fruit card for you.

3. You've added children to your membership and opted into family postal communications but still not received anything - sometimes things can get lost in the post, or we may not have the correct details for you on your account. Please get in touch with our Membership Team on 01522 781 135 or at membership@lincolnshire.coop who will be happy to check things over and get a card posted to you.

  1. Fruit cards are just for children under 13 who are part of an adult membership to enjoy. Parents and guardians can collect fruit on behalf of the registered child but please don’t pass your card on to anyone else.
  2. A maximum of one free fruit item can be collected each day.
  3. Every day you can choose either a loose Gala apple, banana, or orange.
  4. Fruit stocked may vary between stores and is subject to availability. Some stores may not stock all 3 products due to limited space in the store but should have at least 1 of the items every day.
  5. You can get this fruitastic offer from 13th January 2025 to 23rd February 2025.
  6. You can only get your hands on free fruit in Lincolnshire Co-op food stores.
  7. Cannot be exchanged for cash.
  8. We may withdraw this offer at any time.
  9. We can’t replace any lost or stolen cards.
  10. Please don’t photocopy the card - photocopies will not work on our tills.
