2024 Annual Members' Meeting
Our 2024 Christmas Market and Annual Members' Meeting will be held on Tuesday 10th December 2024 at the Epic Centre, Lincolnshire Showground. The meeting will also be broadcast live online for those that cannot make it in person (and a recording of it will be posted on this page after the event).
Our members' meeting will be held in the East Hall of the Epic Centre.
The meeting will start at 7pm and gives members an opportunity to find out more about what we've been up to, ask questions and vote* on important matters.
You will be asked to sign in with your dividend card, fob or app before entering the meeting area.
You'll also then be served a food-to-go bag to take home.
Itinerary:
4:00pm: Doors open - Christmas Market
5.00pm: If you've booked coach transport, the coach departs Wigford Way Bus Stop (next to Brayford Street NCP Car Park, LN5 7BJ. What3Words: loose.since.cheer) at 4pm sharp.
6:00pm: Meeting hall opens, members must sign in to enter.
6:15pm: Lincolnshire Rock Choir performance starts in the East Hall.
7:00pm: Meeting begins
8:00pm: Meeting ends, food served from the Exo Centre from 8pm.
9:00pm: If you've booked coach transport, the coach departs The Epic Centre at 9pm sharp.
9:00pm: Doors close
For members who cannot make it to the Epic Centre in person, we will be broadcasting our meeting live on the night (and a recording of it will be available on this page a few days later).
Access to the meeting (via Lumi's platform) will be available from 6:00pm on Tuesday 10th December 2024; however, please note that your ability to vote* will not be enabled until the presenter formally declares each vote open after the meeting starts at 7pm.
Details of how to vote online will be explained during the meeting.
You will still be able to ask your questions and vote on important matters from home, and as a thank you for joining us we will be crediting your account with £5 of cashback on your dividend card** on Thursday 12th December 2024.
You don't need a microphone or a camera on your device to take part in the meeting. However, as the meeting includes voting*, if there is more than one member in your household, you'll need 1 device per member** to cast individual votes.
You can still ask our Board of Director's questions on the night - there will be a message function which you can use to type in your question and then it will be read out during the Q&A session during the meeting.

Item 4 - To agree that the basic rate of issue of cashback continue at the rate of 1%, as recommended by the Board, and to authorise it to determine the rate of any additional cashback paid.

Item 5 - To ratify the continued appointment of Claire-Jayne Green as a Director appointed under Rule 64(b).

Item 6 - To approve the appointment of Mazars LLP as the Society’s external auditors. The remuneration of the external auditors to be fixed by the Board of Directors.

Cashback is our new way of talking about dividend and the two words may be used interchangeably.
Live Q&A session
Questions on the Directors’ Report, Auditor’s Report and Financial Statements must be submitted in writing to the Secretary at least 48 hours before the meeting. Questions will be taken during the meeting although advance notice will help us provide more detailed answers.
Please submit your questions in advance by emailing membership@lincolnshire.coop or calling 01522 781 135 (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm, excluding Bank Holidays). You can also submit a question on a postcard at the venue, by raising your hand during the Q&A sessions, or through the Lumi platform if you’re joining online.
We'll post questions and answers on our website in the week following the event as usual. We'll also be issuing a survey to get feedback on the event including the Q&A so please take the time to give us your thoughts.

Members are welcome to come along to our Christmas Market, which will be held in the West Hall of the Epic Centre, at Lincolnshire Showground from 4pm - 7pm, then it will reopen once the meeting finishes until 9pm.
🎁 Our biggest market yet will be brimming with local suppliers, giving you a chance to pick up some last-minute presents and gifts at special prices (card payments only).
🎄 The market includes our family of businesses, who will be ready to answer any queries you might have, and have lots of activities for you to take part in.
☕ Not only that but you will be able to meet our Board of Directors in our refreshment area - a great opportunity to chat with them outside of the meeting.
Free return coach to/from Lincoln is available on a first come, first served basis.
The coach will pick up from the bus stop on Wigford Way, Lincoln (next to Brayford Street NCP Car Park, LN5 7BJ. What3words: loose.since.cheer) at 4pm prompt and be a non-stop service to the Epic Centre.
The coach will then depart the Epic Centre at 9pm prompt and be a non-stop service back to Wigford Way in Lincoln.
You can book a space on the coach as part of your booking process for the in-person event.
Voting
*you must be 16+ and have been a member for six months or more to vote.
Online attendees
**If you are joining us online, it is one device per person per vote, therefore the member signed into the broadcast will be who receives the £5 cashback on their dividend card.
Members attending in-person will not be eligible for the £5 cashback.
In-person attendees
All attendees must be members of Lincolnshire Co-op, or if under 13, linked to an adult membership account.
Attendees must present their dividend app/card/key fob on arrival at the Epic Centre.
In-person attendees do not qualify for the £5 cashback.
Meal to go bag
A free meal to go bag will be provided to members attending in-person.
As part of the booking process, members can advise of any dietary/allergy requirements.
