Changes to pharmacy opening hours

UPDATE 25th February 2022 - Branston Pharmacy is now open Saturday 9am until 1pm

Due to staffing issues, we are making changes to the opening hours of six of our 49 pharmacies and no longer opening on Saturdays.

From Saturday 19th February, the changes will impact our Bracebridge Heath, Branston, Skellingthorpe, Burton Road Pharmacy in Lincoln, Winning Post Pharmacy on Carholme Road in Lincoln and Newark Road Pharmacy on Newark Road in North Hykeham.

The pharmacies remain open during the week as normal.

A spokesperson said: "We’re sorry for the inconvenience these changes have caused – it’s not something we do lightly.

"The changes in opening hours are due to staffing challenges caused by a number of reasons, including members of the team needing to self-isolate due to covid. Dispensing medication can only be done with a specific qualified team in place so that presents another challenge.

"We will continue to review these hours."

In an emergency situation, we would encourage people to call NHS 111 and the team will be able to advise where medication or advice can be accessed.
