Eggy bread (V)
A weekend treat awaits with this super easy breakfast you can make for all the family...and it’ll keep you warm this winter!

Ingredients
- 5 Co-op eggs
- 5 tablespoons semi-skimmed milk
- 8 thin slices bread e.g. wholemeal, granary or white
- 15g butter
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Method
- Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add the milk and whisk it all up
- Dip the bread into the egg mixture making sure all the bread is completely covered
- Pop half of the butter and all of the oil into a frying pan, add the 2 slices of bread and cook for 2 minutes on each side
- Repeat this with the rest of the butter and bread
- Cut into quarters and serve
