New pharmacy joins the business
Lincolnshire Co-op has welcomed a new pharmacy into the business – Birchwood Health Centre Pharmacy in Lincoln.
The pharmacy belonged to Boots and the society has now taken it over, with the team of four colleagues joining the business.
Lincolnshire Co-op also runs nearby Birchwood Pharmacy on Jasmin Road.
The plan is to continue to run both services side by side, retaining all the colleagues, while we consider options for further investment and the potential to grow pharmacy and healthcare services in the area in the future.
Patients at both pharmacies will see no changes to their service for the foreseeable future. They will continue to pick up their medication from their nominated pharmacy, either Birchwood Pharmacy or Birchwood Health Centre, which is the former Boots.
