New look for Grimsby Funeral Home!
A range of valued services are once again available to the bereaved following the £280K renovation of Grimsby Funeral Home.
Located on Corporation Road, the branch reopened on Monday 18th September, having closed for renovations in April 2023.
Internally, the branch has been updated and modernised with a calming new green colour scheme and Grimsby themed artwork displayed on the walls. New comfortable tartan furniture completes the look, and two separate buildings have been joined together to improve the client and colleague experience.
Grimsby Funeral Home first opened back in 2013 and employs two funeral colleagues.
The new look allows the branch to welcome clients into a more homely, spacious setting before offering the usual exceptional care and advice.
Having served the bereaved for over 150 years, Lincolnshire Co-op can help with all aspects of a funeral. And as a co-op, money is recycled back into the local community. Every time a member makes a purchase using their dividend card, they receive dividend; including on funeral plans and services.
Matthew Golding, Resource & Logistics Manager for Lincolnshire Co-op Funeral Services, said: “We’re delighted with the revamp of our Grimsby branch. It’s massively improved the feel of the place as soon as you walk through the door.
“Organising a funeral is often an emotional and challenging time for people who’ve lost loved ones, which is something that has been at the forefront of our minds throughout the renovation process. A clean, modern, welcoming space will make the start of their experience much more pleasant and ease them into the process.
“Our colleagues are really excited to have a refreshed base to work from and are looking forward to giving clients a warm welcome.”
