Summer of Sharing
Food banks and community larders are providing vital food and support for people who have fallen on hard times. Sadly, many food banks are giving out more food than they are getting in.
During summer, these causes tend to see a significant drop in donations and many families may need extra support over the school holidays. This can mean volunteers struggle to keep up with demand.
We are supporting over 40 different causes in and around Lincolnshire to help provide nutritious food and basic amenities to those in need.
Our Summer of Sharing allows you to donate items, money or dividend at your local Lincolnshire Co-op food store to support the food banks in your area.
Any donation is appreciated, but each store has a list of items that your local food bank needs the most to help you decide which items to pop in your basket. Once you've made your purchase, just drop them off at the collection point in store.
Remember, even a small donation can make a big difference to those in need.
