Toffee apple thins (V)
Junior members! Are you collecting your free fruit every day? Why not use your apple to make these super tasty toffee apple thins!
Ingredients
- Toffee sauce
- 2 Co-op Irresistible buttermilk crumpets
- 1 Co-op apple
Method
- Toast the crumpets, slice in 1/2 horizontally, then toast again until golden
- Spoon or drizzle 1 tbsp of the toffee sauce over each
- Leave to cool until the crumpets have absorbed the toffee and are sticky and slightly crunchy
- Core and thinly slice the apple, then top the crumpets with the apple slices and an extra 1 tsp of toffee each
