Mental health and wellbeing support
Every mind matters
We all have mental health, and life is full of ups and downs for us all.
That's why looking after our mental health and wellbeing is important - it's essential to living happy and healthy lives but sometimes we all need a little support to get through challenging times.
Here you will find resources full of information and support if you or someone you care about is stressed, anxious, low or struggling. We all need a little bit of extra help from time to time.
Community Cuppas
These events are open to all and are a great place for people to meet with friends, make new ones and find out what else is happening locally. We all need a little extra company sometimes so we understand the importance of bringing people together to help tackle loneliness and social isolation in our communities. That's why we're working to support local groups and volunteers with local Community Cuppas.
Wellbeing walks
Wellbeing Walks are short walks, run by friendly, specially trained volunteer walk leaders, who are on hand to provide encouragement and support. All walks are open to everyone so don’t worry about your fitness level - walks are over easy terrain and at a steady pace to suit everyone.
Walking can help to boost fitness and wellbeing and it’s almost impossible not to feel good when walking outdoors – it’s a natural mood-booster, and you’ll certainly never be short of good company!
