Stop smoking
Stopping smoking is one of the best things you can do for your health. Quitting is much easier with support and there are lots of options to choose from.
Help to quit for good
Most people find it hard to quit smoking using willpower alone. But by getting support you're three times more likely to quit successfully according to NHS UK.
Stop smoking service
We can support you to quit for good, our pharmacies provide a free care service that helps you to give up.
Our advisors are fully trained in providing personalised support and motivational counselling and can offer advice on the latest stop smoking products. The appointments can be done either in person, over the phone or via video call.
What happens at the appointment?
The first appointment will last about 20 minutes. The one-to-one advisor will go through the individual’s medical history, then talk through the different options available to advise what support will be best. Once the patient has decided their next steps, they set a ‘quit date’ to work towards.
During the next ten weeks they will chat with their advisor once a week for 15 minutes to monitor how they’re getting on and make any changes.
If you're thinking of quitting visit your local Lincolnshire Co-op pharmacy to find out more.
