Measles, mumps, and rubella are highly contagious viral diseases that can lead to serious health complications. • Measles: Causes fever, cough, runny nose, inflamed eyes, and a characteristic red rash. It can lead to severe complications such as pneumonia and encephalitis.
• Mumps: Characterised by swelling of the salivary glands, fever, headache, and muscle aches. Complications can include meningitis, encephalitis, and hearing loss.
• Rubella (German Measles): Causes mild fever and rash but can lead to serious birth defects if contracted by pregnant women.
