Accessible cruises
Need a little help?
All cruise lines place high importance on giving the appropriate assistance to make a holiday accessible for all passengers.
Many use the latest technology to offer a range of amenities and services for guests and have adapted their ships to cater for the needs of disabled passengers.
Almost every cruise ship has large, easily accessible public areas and lifts as well as modern medical facilities. Specially-adapted cabins can be booked which have wide access doorways and ample space. You'll need to book these cabins early as most ships only have a handful of them available. There are also facilities for guide dogs and aids for the hard of hearing.
We do advise always taking a travelling companion with you and most cruise lines will require this. It means you'll always have the presence of a person who understands your specific needs.
